For three generations, since 1950, the Fakhro family has been in the Sheep Casings business in Beirut, Lebanon. Ali Fakhro, father of Khodr Fakhro and grandfather of Mohammad Fakhro, shipped a thousand original Lebanese sheep casings cleaned, salted and selected to Hamburg, Germany.

Following that, several shipments were shipped to European cities.

In 1969, Khodr, assumed the family business and developed exports to Europe and USA, always as original, selected and cleaned sheep casings. 

In 1972, Khodr extended the selection plant in the Middle East, in Beirut, where casings sent from all over the Middle East were selected and assorted according to international standards. These were well preserved and could thus withstand long journeys of three to four months when shipped to the USA and Europe.

In 1995, Mohammad Fakhro Mohammad (Mo) moved to United States to finish his education, while still involved in the casing business. He started Fakhro Trading, Inc. in the United States.

In 2022, Mohammad came back to Lebanon to open Fakhro Casing and began work in collaboration with Fakhro Trading.

The Fakhro’s are nearing 72 years in the casings business and are proud to be respected and known for honesty, integrity, and capability to provide quality casings, world wide.
